Kurrajong Vineyard logo

At Kurrajong Vineyard we specialise in Rosés and Contemporary Hunter Valley wines. We make a very limited quantity, those which we particularly enjoy with food. It's easy to be passionate about making wines we love to drink ourselves - we hope you taste the difference.

Buying KV wines
You can buy KV wines via our online cellar door, directly at our vineyard, or at selected restaurants and bottleshops. Our Reserve Blend wines are of very limited quantity and are only available to our wine club members or via our mailing list.

The range of KV wines
Our main wines are classic Hunter Valley varieties that fully embody the Valley's unique terroir - Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Merlot and Shiraz. We make them in a contemporary style, fermenting cool, to deliver a fruit-forward rather than savoury wine. We do specialise in Rosés, and for 2013 we have added a Cabernet Rosé to our popular Merlot Rosé. Both are dry Rosés, inspired by those from Southern France. Finally, occasionally we have some Reserve Blend wines, made only in the best years, from our unique selection of Mediterranean grape varieties. Find out more on our KV Wines page.

The source of KV wines
Our wines are made primarily from our own grapes, although we do source some from our neighbours. Our Belford semillon block was planted in the 1960s and our Pokolbin blocks were planted in 1990 and 2000. To meet our passion for blended wines we use the following varieties: Barbera, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Semillon, Shiraz, Tempranillo, and Verdelho. Find out more on our KV Vines page.

Accommodation update.

While Kurrajong Vineyard cottages and B&B suite were amongst the first on Hermitage Road, with mixed feelings we have closed our accommodation to concentrate on our vineyard and KV wines. Many heartfelt thanks to all those who stayed with us over the years and gave us some fond memories.

News:
