Our wines are an authentic reflection of
the place the grapes are grown. Far
from being an “international” style,
they faithfully express their local
terroir. Our wines are well-suited to
modern cuisine, with dry rosés, unique
premium reds and fruit-driven whites.
We have a very small family vineyard
and winery where we grow grapes,
make wine, bottle, label and pack it
ourselves.

Buying our wines
Due to the sale of our winery,
corresponding sales of our wines have
been suspended.
Due to illness we had to sell our vineyard in 2014 and have
not made any wines since that vintage. We still have in stock
some of our best wines from the vintages 2009 to 2014.
At Kurrajong Vineyard we have three ranges of Hunter Valley wines :
Classic (traditional single varietals), Premium (selected vintage wines)
and Premium-Reserve (outstanding blends and museum wines).
We have been inspired by the dry and savoury rosés from France; rosés
are one of our specialities. Historically, we made a light Merlot Rosé, a
fuller-bodied Cabernet Rosé, and a more textured Shiraz Rosé.
We have a passion for complex old wines, and blends in particular. We
have made some unique premium-reserve red blends: Barbera-Shiraz,
Cabernet-Cabernet Franc-Merlot-Petit Verdot (a homage to Bordeaux,
Cabernet-Merlot, Shiraz-Tempranillo and Tempranillo-Shiraz.
Our wines are made using both new-world and old-world styles. New-
world cool fermentations and anti-oxidative handling to preserve the
fruit flavours. Old-world ageing and finishing to provide long-lasting
wines with a complementary savoury character.
Classic : Chardonnay, Semillon, Verdelho*, Rosé*, Merlot, Shiraz
Premium : Semillon, Shiraz
Premium-Reserve : Barbera*, Cabernet, Shiraz, Tempranillo
* These wines are sold-out.
